The first Star Wars film to hit theaters since The Rise of Skywalker in 2019 opens this Friday. The Mandalorian and Grogu is a theatrical feature, not a TV movie, and Lucasfilm has been careful to frame it as a complete story rather than the setup for a new trilogy. Jon Favreau directs from his own screenplay.
Pedro Pascal returns as Din Djarin. Jeremy Allen White joins the cast in an undisclosed role, as does Sigourney Weaver. IMAX bookings are available across the US starting May 22.
